Rebuilds typically take 3–6 months depending on complexity and your go-live requirements. Operations management begins during the build and continues indefinitely. The first month is intensive; by month two we've usually reduced to standard operations rhythm.

You can, but you don't have to. Most clients have us handle customer operations and backend workflows, then use a simple interface for high-level content. We set it up however your team prefers.
Both. We migrate and heavily customize Shopify when it makes sense, or build custom platforms from scratch when Shopify's limitations don't fit. We choose the approach that serves your operations best, not our convenience.
